I felt my heart opening up every time I was there: I have some really wonderful memories of Rio, which I already cherish now, before the Games even starts. The pleasure and the passion during the workshops given by the Dutch former and present top athletes show us once more how inspiring sport can be. It was also good for them to experience this tiny piece of Rio during their training camps. The stories I heard afterwards were always enthusiastic. I hope that our contribution to the GEO project can also leave a permanent smile in our memories. That would then be part of our own legacy.
