In cirkels Eind 2024 besloot ik om uit mijn comfortzone te stappen en een online challenge met waterverf aan te gaan. 30 dagen vol tips. Veel inspiratie, spelen met het materiaal. Ik ontdekte een liefde voor waterverf en een voorkeur voor werken in een cirkel. Daaruit ontstond het idee om 2025 te starten met een reeks waterverfcirkels gekoppeld aan meditatie. In een eerst fase bracht ik de cirkel aan op het tekenblad. Het aanbrengen van waterverf volgde vanzelf. Op het moment waarop de gevoelswaarde van dat moment vertaald kon worden. Zonder tussenkomst van het verbale. Een tweede fase volgde een dag of soms enkele dagen later. Een toevoeging van enkele kleine elementen in collage-stijl. In circles In the end of 2024, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and take on an online challenge with watercolors. 30 days full of tips. Lots of inspiration, playing with the material. I discovered a love for watercolor and a preference for working in a circle. From that came the idea to start 2025 with a series of watercolor circles coupled with meditation. Initially, I marked the circle on the drawing sheet. The application of the watercolor followed naturally. The moment the emotional energy of that moment could be translated. Without the intervention of the verbal. A second phase followed a day or sometimes several days later. An addition of some small elements in collage style.
