Catalogue 2020 BODYSHOP Program I Filtration systems Filters 5000X range Maximum air quality Minimal loss of pressure in line Developed for new automotive paint technologies The air from a compressor which is circulating throughout the line contains particles and solid impurities, water from the relative humidity of the suctioned air and burnt oil from the compressor. That’s why it is necessary to eliminate these impurities with the help of a filter but taking into account that we always have to obtain the maximum performance with the minimum pressure loss. With the recent emergence of the new regulations concerning the drastic decrease of solvents in the new primers, basecoats, HS clearcoats and filtERS even in the waterborne paints, the existence of impurities in the compressed air which is used to spray is now more critical for the final results of the bodywork, mainly due to: - In HS: the high gloss of these paints, their poor proportion of solvents and their decrease in the number of finishing coats make that the small particles proceeding from the compressed air become striking. - In waterborne paints: their high incompatibility with any oil and organic fumes makes the air quality requirements very high. Organic fumes Particles Oils Regulating Wheel membrane assisted Water Air inlet Deposition of solid particles > 8 microns Centrifugal filter, separating water and oil from the air by centrifugal force Coalescent filter Deposition of water, oil and solid particles 1st STAGE Friction and centrifugal filtration Elimination: Water - Oil Impurities 20 Automatic draining system 2nd STAGE Coalescent filtration Elimination: Particles larger than 0.01 microns Activ charcoal filter Semi-automatic draining system 3rd STAGE Active charcoal filtration Elimination: Organic fumes Solvents quantities of solid particles, water and oil >0,01 microns Deposition of remaining Air outlet www.sagola.com
