In the forest edges, birds twittered and woodpeckers hammered. The abundance of insects, 昀氀owers and fruits in the undisturbed rainforest provided a varied and sumptuous breakfast for them. After a short 4x4 drive, you can head to the base of Fredberg where the tracks to the summit and the courtship site of the orange rock bird begin. As a lover of snakes and frogs, climbing Fredberg at night was an adventure in itself. At night, the tropical forest reveals many of its natural treasures.
