The most recent mortality rates from 2015 for the Netherlands are available and have therefore been added. There is no reason to change the starting point of the observation period. From 1970 onwards, there has been a stable development in the mortality rates (see also graphs 1 and 2). With the period chosen, historic data are used for a period of 45 years (from 1970 onwards).
