APPENDIX B Model portfolio The model portfolios comprise no other forms of pension than a lifelong retirement pension and a lifelong survivor’s pension. There are six model portfolios which distinguish between young/average/old and male/female. Only multiples of 10 years are included as the ages of members, pensioners and surviving dependants. The average dataset is defined as the average between young and old. In the case of men, the rights resulting from male members (in other words, including widows) are included and in the case of women the rights resulting from female members (in other words, including widowers) are included. The weighted average age for the various categories is shown in table 15.
