The thick fleeces protect the sheep perfectly against the cold. Our sheep spend their summers in the lush mountains and valleys where they feed on fresh green grass and other plants. When winter comes, the sheep are herded by and distributed among local farms. Depending on the number of sheep, the herding can take up as much as seven days, which is why friends and family all join in to help. 12
