We are committed to production using sustainable raw materials and good working conditions. Together with our production partners, we are constantly looking for new innovations. For years, we have been working together to improve working conditions and social welfare step by step. To monitor these joint efforts, we have been affiliated with the amfori network since 2011. THE AMFORI NETWORK Santino is an active member of the trade association amfori, which pursues two important initiatives: BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) and BEPI (Business Environmental Performance Initiative). These initiatives support international companies in improving social and environmental performance in the supply chain, respectively. Amfori BSCI focuses on improving working conditions, with a focus on issues such as child labour, discrimination and modern slavery. BEPI encourages companies to measure, improve and make their environmental performance more sustainable within the production process. Amfori is a global trade association whose goal is to create an open and sustainable trading environment based on a common code of conduct. More than 2,400 retailers, importers, distributors, brands and associations are affiliated with it. Our joint mission focuses on three key objectives: • Increasing human prosperity • Responsible use of natural resources • Promoting open and fair global trade As an active member, Santino is committed to working with amfori to achieve large-scale, positive change. Through quality audits and other monitoring tools, amfori helps us to identify, prevent, mitigate, account for and remedy labour risks and negative human rights impacts in our production process. 13
