Pixie uses technical compression fabric made from 100% regenerated nylon/polyamide from Econyl – a material that’s made from waste, including fishing nets and carpets. The reclaimed yarn is knitted into a high performance fabric in Italy. An average of 640,000 tonnes of fishing nets are left in the ocean every year, which makes up around 10% of marine litter. For every tonne of waste nets collected, enough nylon is generated to create more than 7,000 running leggings. The products are made in Holland.
