You can then continue cycling through vast flowery meadows, enjoying the vibrant and diverse countryside. What makes this route so special, is that you will have to cross several waterways. Volunteer crews ferry you across the ditches and channels. The ferries give an extra dimension to your ride; an experience not to be missed! De 8 van Grou has 12 ferry crossings and is also called “de Pontjesroute”. Route Guide “De 8 van Grou” De 8 van Grou has its own information brochure, with routes, operating times and the locations (list of) the ferries timetables. In this brochure you will find four different routes. All routes combine well wherever you begin. And they all start and finish in Grou.
