MACHINE(RY) (RE)CONSTRUCTION & SPECIAL CONSTRUCTIONS “We can adjust your machine so the production process is smoother, faster, and more reliable than before” Having a machine or machinery perform smoother, faster, and more reliable... we happily realize that at Veldkamp. For example, by reconstructing the machine, increasing its capacity, or optimizing it. That’s possible in numerous of ways; for instance, by making parts lighter, or shortening distances in a machine, making parts heavier and sturdier, or by changing and optimizing the controls. We have all the disciplines necessary for this, including our own software department. If a customized part is required, we can make this in our own workshop. We have our own chippers, a spray booth, assembly hall, and a welding booth. The work can also be carried out on site where we can conduct an e-installation if we are entrusted to do so. Veldkamp overhauled this completely and expanded it from one to two stacking positions. Stacking is now carried out using the latest electro-magnetic technology, so the plates are damaged less. The entire transport of pallets with tin plates is also modernized. For example, a lifting roller conveyor has been installed to maximize the ergonomic comfort of the operators. Safety has already been considered during the designing process, and this has been implemented in such a way so a safe but workable situation has arisen, which is once again completely up to date! Together with our clients, we decide collectively which maintenance or overhaul or repair are necessary for this. Usually we end up with a combination of periodic work and inspections that need to be carried out annually and agreed upon in a service level agreement (SLA). Usually such agreements already exist with the OEM of the machine or machinery concerned. But that isn’t always necessary... just like a car doesn’t have to go to a brand auto repair shop for maintenance, but rather a professional repair shop.
