Ostend is known as the ‘Queen of the Belgian coast’. Almost every street ends at the beach. A cosy boulevard, a range of shopping streets, restaurants and a vibrant nightlife make Ostend a popular destination. For anyone who wants to combine all these aspects with an international competition, the Sirene Cup in Ostend is the place to be. Location: De Schorre sports park, a couple of kilometres from the beach and the city centre. The Sirene Cup in Ostend - if anyone has a better idea, answers on a postcard please! Ostend (70,000 inhabitants) offers everything you would expect from a seaside town: the sea, a beautiful beach and a boulevard jam-packed with restaurants, cafés and hotels.
