Zelf wist de talentvolle Haynes GH vorig jaar de Blom Hengstencompetitie in de klasse Z te winnen onder Steven Veldhuis. Carambole weet telkens weer echte springpaarden te brengen net zoals Haynes GH. Maestro stamt af van de achtjarige merrie Havanna die zichzelf al heeft bewezen in de springring op 1.40m-niveau. Zij is een dochter van de Olympische hengst Zirocco Blue VDL, gevolgd door de 1.60m-hengst Chin Chin. In de pedigree van Maestro zien we aan moederszijde drie elitemerries op een rij, uit deze merrielijn komen diverse internationale 1.30/1.35m-paarden. De grootmoeder is daarnaast een halfzus van het internationale 1.40m-paard Gaslight VDL (v.Cardento). Carambole son Haynes presents his first crop this year, including this promising son Maestro.
