A GREENER WORLD Our sustainab Over the past year, we have taken new steps towards realising our sustainable dream. As always, our achievements are the result of close cooperation with colleagues, suppliers, customers, NGOs, the government, competitors and other industry peers. At the end of 2020, we also further sharpened our sustainability ambitions for the next 10 years. Our dream for 2030 • To sell twice as many plants as in 2020: from 125 to 250 million. • ‘Positive plants’: the plants we sell will contribute to a healthier planet and a better life for all. Our increasing success in anchoring sustainability within the company • Each quarter, progress is discussed in a steering committee, which includes three board members. • Each month, we discuss our progress with the Royal Lemkes Sustainability Team, in which all departments are represented. • Sustainability is directly linked to our commercial departments and embedded in our sourcing and sales strategy. • We have included sustainable production in our purchasing agreements. • We continue to work with stakeholder groups and networks, such as the FSI Foundation, IMVO, Tuinbranche Nederland, Versnellers, MVO Nederland and various PPP projects.
